The Brief

National Australia Bank (NAB) is one of the four largest financial institutions in Australia and ranked the 17th largest bank in the world based on its market capitalisation. It operates across 10 countries, serving 8.3 million consumer and business banking customers. In the UK it owns Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank and is headquartered in London.

National Australia Bank and Clydesdale Bank needed to consolidate all their highly confidential and high-security-risk archives and bulk filing from 25 satellite offices into their new office in Piccadilly. They needed a company adept at working with the financial sector to accomplish this.


The Solution

Active planned and managed the move and paid particular regard to the sensitive nature of the move. The team synchronised the fleet of delivery vehicles to converge on the new office in the busy Piccadilly location simultaneously, with no disruption to the public or traffic in the direct vicinity.

The move was swift and successful and furthered the relationship with NAB. Active has since completed various moves with the bank, with services including project management, crate and materials management, Kardex cabinet relocation and maintenance, file mapping and sequential bulk filing packing, relocation and unpacking.
