Community thinking
Active supports Connect Reading – a unique collaboration of commercial, public and voluntary sectors in the Greater Reading area, whose core objective is to find innovative solutions to some of the more challenging socio-economic issues facing Reading today.

We recognise the impact of our operations on the environment and aim to minimise that impact as far as possible. We aim to manage the waste produced by our activities and minimise the amount of waste that goes to landfill.

Health and safety audits
Active wholly supports the importance of health and safety in the workplace and undertakes regular Health & Safety audits to ensure our teams are protected during any project that we undertake.

Risk assessments
Active carries out specific risk assessments on each and every project. This not only puts you on the right side of your legal obligations, but provides invaluable feedback enabling you to make better informed decisions.

We are an approved supplier to Carillion and Johnson Controls, and we are proud to hold accreditations from Safe Contractor, Exor and CHAS.
