We are extremely proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for the SME of the Year category in the Thames Valley Business & Community Awards 2018. After reaching the finals in both the IoD and Thames Valley Business Magazine Awards towards the end of last year, we are over the moon to have started 2018 with yet another fantastic achievement!

The Thames Valley Business & Community Awards, sponsored by Aspen Waite, and organised by the founders of the Great British Expo, recognises businesses, charities, and individuals that have made an outstanding contribution across the Thames Valley region.

Out of the 300 nominees, Active was one of the 88 shortlisted across the 12 different award categories. Competing with Active for SME of the Year is: Creative Nature, FuseMetrix Systems Ltd, Get Ahead VA, Goldstein Legal, House of Fisher, InXpress Reading, Scitech and Speedboard Assembly Services.

The winners are to be announced on January 31st at the Awards ceremony held at the Macdonald Berystede Hotel in Ascot. Judging this year's awards will be a panel of some of the UK's biggest business leaders, entrepreneur, charity ambassadors and regional influencers. The judges include Business Women of 2017 Mary Flavelle, CEO of Aspen Waite Paul Waite, number one business advisor Alison Edgar, BBC Apprentice Finalist Richard Woods, and Business Leader of 2016 Juliane Ponan.
